
How the main menu looks like.
The Main Menu is one of VRChat's several menus, acting as an essential way to access many settings and features. It is divided into 12 distinct tabs
Wings[]
- Main article: Wings
Wings are customizable side panels placed to the left and right of the Main Menu used to quickly access important features like changing avatars or viewing your friends list.
Launch Pad[]
- Main article: Launch Pad
The Launch Pad tab gives you a quick overview of a lot of helpful information. It lets you see how many friends are online, how many invites and requests you have, and what worlds you have visited recently. It also informs you of any updates to your favourite worlds and who you have hung out with lately.
Notifications[]

The Notifications tab is a one stop shop for any notification you receive; ranging from friends requests, invites, group announcements and more. You can also edit your custom invite messages.
Profile[]

Profile tab

The Profile tab is where you can express yourself. Set a custom bio, showcase what groups you're in, and what languages you speak. It also shows what worlds you have uploaded and your public favourite world lists.
Worlds[]

The Worlds tab is where you find worlds you can visit and your uploaded worlds. It shows a bunch of categories of worlds to choose from like Trending, Spotlight, New, and Updated Recently. If you want a roll of the dice, check out Random and Community Labs.
Avatars[]

In the Avatars tab you can find your favourite, uploaded, and recently used avatars. You also have a bunch public avatars that were curated by VRChat. If you still can't find a avatar to your liking check out the Avatar Worlds categories for more options to explore.
Social[]

The Social tab is the place to see which friends are online and which are available to join. You can also check out which group instances are open and what friends are in group instances.
Groups[]

The Groups tab is where you can view all the groups you are in and groups you can find and join. You can find out group info, gallery, instances, and announcements here also.
Safety[]

The Safety tab allows you to customize how you see other people in VRChat. You can allow on a per trust level basis what avatar features you can turn off or on. Or you can use the default safety modes provided.
Settings[]

The Settings tab is the place to control all your audio and video settings, comfort options, and other aspects of VRChat.
Search[]

Search tab
The Search tab provides you a way to search for worlds, avatar worlds, and users. Or you can click on one of the many quick world searches shown.
VRChat Plus[]

The VRChat Plus tab is where you can manage your VRC+ benefits like custom user icons, photos, UI backgrounds and emojis.
Help & Info[]

The Help & Info tab showcases a multitude of guides on VRChat features mainly targeted towards helping new players.
History[]
The current main menu that is used now was launched on October 12th, 2022 with patch 2022.3.1[1] as part of the UI 2.0 Update.[2]. This update has been in planning since at least April 2020[3]
